we were able to accomplish a great deal bringing the drawdown in afghanistan, working with our nato allies to get rid of gaddafi. we implemented unprecedented sanctions and pressure on iran uniting the world against the nuclear ambitions in making clear that they must not close the strait of hormuz and not developing nuclear weapons. as chuck said, we clearly should negotiate about whether they are serious. we have to maintain a healthy skepticism. it is the supreme leader that is the key -- the supreme leader. they are not likely to agree to give up enrichment. therefore, we must remain strong. we must remain consistent that they must never, never be able to develop a nuclear weapons and that we may very well have to use military force to back up our policy.
